Are you looking for a powerful, reliable solution for the cleaning and disinfection of medical and dental instruments?
Meet Elmaclean 50. This high-quality liquid concentrate has been specially developed for non-protein-fixing cleaning and intensive disinfection, both in a dip bath and in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Thanks to its advanced formula, Elmaclean 50 is VAH-certified and completely free of aldehydes, phenols, and QACs (quaternary ammonium compounds). This makes the product not only highly effective but also safer to use.
Your benefits with Elmaclean 50:
Broad spectrum of action: Effective against bacteria (including TB) and yeasts. Also virucidal action against encapsulated viruses such as HBV, HCV, HIV, and influenza.
Ultrasonically optimized: Significantly reduce contact time by combining Elmaclean 50 with an ultrasonic bath (e.g., tuberculocidal action in just 5 minutes at 2%). Non-protein fixing: Prevents proteins from caking onto your instruments during cleaning, which is essential for perfect preparation for sterilization.
Long shelf life: An unused ready-to-use solution remains active for up to 30 days. With intensive use, the prepared solution lasts up to 7 days.
Areas of application
Elmaclean 50 is intended exclusively for professional use by qualified medical personnel and is ideal for:
General medical and dental instruments: Diagnostic, surgical, and conservative instruments (such as extraction forceps, root lifters, mouth mirrors, and rigid endoscopes).
Rotary precision instruments: Dental drills and milling cutters made of steel, carbide, and diamond, crown removers, root canal instruments, and rubber polishing discs.
Dosage and Action (Reception times)
Elmaclean 50 is very economical to use. The standard recommended dosage is 0.5% (e.g., 5 ml concentrate in 995 ml water). For shorter contact times or specific disinfection requirements, you can increase the concentration:
Instructions for use
Mixing: Dilute the concentrate with water to the desired consistency (e.g. 5 ml per 1 liter for 0.5%).
Immersion: Immerse the instruments completely in the liquid, ensuring there are no air bubbles.
Rinsing: After the contact time, remove the instruments from the bath and rinse them thoroughly with suitable water (e.g. tap water). If necessary, brush away stubborn dirt with a plastic brush.
Sterilization: Note: A final sterilization round is mandatory after disinfection of invasive products with Elmaclean 50.
