Access to the EPD (electronic patient file) in the department is also gaining in importance.

Belintra offers various options for responding to locking. For medical vehicles equipped with IT, this is done after USB control on the PC to grant access with a badge, password or other identification methods.

To equip your medication cart with IT you need the following components.

Belintra Powered Back Pack:

The Back Pack is an external housing to build in hardware and screen, keyboard,
the badge reader, scanner, etc. properly. This also includes the WIFI antenna and a
COW Controller.

The COW controller is an intelligent battery charger with integrated double DCDC
conversion and a USB connection to the PC. It also monitors battery status and
keeps a log file of the loading / unloading.

For the battery you can choose between a VRLA battery or a LiFePO4 battery. The charge status of the battery can be visually checked by the LED on the
Powered Back Pack and via the PC screen thanks to the “Battery Monitor Software”.
