PADSY-Spiro, innovative and compliant PADSY-Spiro is designed in accordance with current guidelines of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and the American Thoracic Society (ATS)

The advanced screen elements in the PADSY-Spiro software give you an extremely accurate picture of your patient's effort during each breathing maneuver. You or your staff can immediately see if the breathing maneuver was performed correctly or needs to be repeated. Maneuvers only need to be repeated if, for example, the reproducibility or acceptance do not meet the ERS and ATS guidelines or if the quality requirements are not met.

Naturally, PADSY-Spiro also allows for an individual assessment. With PADSY-Spiro you can effortlessly produce valid measurement results and optimize the workflow for your medical staff. For example, static and forced maneuvers are recorded in a single work step. Afterwards, the pre- and post-measurements are grouped so that you can see the effect of the bronchial spasmolysis at a glance. All pulmonary questions can be answered at a glance with PADSY-Spiro, so that you are assured of a reliable diagnosis every time.

Spirosound, innovative technology for PADSY-Spiro
Spirosound uses innovative ultrasonic technology to measure respiratory flow and is therefore the ideal sensor for PADSY-Spiro. Calibration is not necessary, which contributes to the accuracy of the measurements. The flow measurement is accurate in combination with a minimum dead space and does not depend on the composition of the breathing gas. External factors such as temperature and humidity have no influence on the readings. The disposable Spirette™ guarantees optimal hygiene, eliminating the need for bacterial filters. Because the Spirosound has no moving parts, it is sturdy and robust, so it can be trusted in the daily hospital routine.
