Concentrate for disinfecting cleaning of medical and dental, including quickly rotating and endoscopic instruments.

EC 55 is an alkaline, aldehyde- and phenol free concentrate, applicable in an immersion bath with and without ultrasound. For general and surgical medical instruments and especially for rotating dental instruments (drills, cutters, polishers, root canal instruments). Suitable for stainless steel, steel and hard metal – also diamond-studded, plastics, ceramics. Removes blood, proteins, saliva as well as residuals of tissue and bone.

Not suitable for aluminum and light metal alloys.
VAH-certified (Verband für Angewandte Hygiene, Germany), meets the requirements of RKI (Robert-Koch-Institut, Germany).

• Application and Dosage
  Dosage and exposure time: Disinfection confirmed by medical opinions for immersion into aqueous solution of 2.0 % at room temperature after 15 min: levurocidal, bactericidal (incl. tbc.); virucidal (limited effect according to RKI, i.e. it applies for enveloped viruses like HCV, HIV, HBV).
  After 5 min: levurocidal, viruzidal (limited acc. to RKI), bactericidal (excl. TBC).
• Cleaning: according to DIN ISO/TS 15883-5.
• After disinfection and also after cleaning rinse with running water. Then the instruments have to be sterilized.
• The usability time of the cleaning solution is 8 days.
