With the SorbX® Dialysis Shield, you can remain safe and protected from radiation. These shields merge standard drape material with industry-leading highly absorbent material that is also great for fluid containment.

The SorbX shields and drapes are sterile, disposable, and are also lead-free, making it environmentally friendly. Medical professionals should use these dialysis drapes in fluoroscopy procedures where the entry point is in the forearm.

The shield is versatile with the capability of having two movable panels that protect from scatter radiation during procedure. In addition, you can move the panels out of the way for particular fluoroscopic views. Optimally designed with a catheter placement in mind, the drapes have a rectangular fenestration that is 7″ x 9″. 

These incredibly useful drapes have dialysis access as well as de-clotting procedures in mind. Furthermore, to ensure reliability, the dialysis drapes are tested and designed at three different levels of protection. With proper positioning along with designs specific to a procedure, the patient will get a maximum shaded area of protection.
